Wabano x Elise Cheechoo

Elise Cheechoo is an illilew, nehiyawiskwew and numunuu woman from Poundmaker Cree Nation and Moose Cree First Nation. She uses beading as an outlet for creativity and it is a tradition passed down from generation to generation. Her mother, Dawn Trapper taught her when she was 7 years old, she continues to carry this tradition along with her and continues to create.
