A citizen of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, Bridgette is an advocate for her people who strives to help them protect their cultures and traditions. She is a member of Matriarch, volunteers for NOISE, and is currently enrolled in Fashion Industry Essentials at Parsons School of Design and Native Studies with a concentration in Tribal Government at Nebraska Indian Community College.

Through Issitohbi Designs she provides modern NDN fashions where tradish meets contemporary. This heirloom quality beadwork is made to pass down to the next seven generations.
